Eliza Hatch is a photographer, speaker, curator, digital creator, and the founder of Cheer Up Luv. Eliza founded Cheer Up Luv 8 years ago as a photo series retelling women and gender-diverse people's experiences of public sexual harassment. Cheer Up Luv has since evolved into a globally renowned educational platform and community, combining art with journalism, activism, social media and a podcast. Eliza’s recent highlights include being nominated as Changemaker of The Year at the ITV bCreator Awards, creating an investigative photography project and article for Glamour Magazine exposing misogyny in the music industry and launching her own series of talks: Cheer Up Luv Talks.
Eliza is an accomplished public speaker and has spoken at TEDx talk, Nicer Tuesdays, hosted panels for Soho House, and headlined as keynote speaker at Storyhouse Women. Eliza has worked with the United Nations, Women’s Aid, Home Office, UN Women, Adobe Stock, Durex, Lime, Refinery 29 and Nike to name a few and has exhibited her work worldwide. Her work has received acclaim from publications such as The Guardian, Evening Standard, The Independent, The Washington Post, Wonderland, Cosmopolitan, and many more. Eliza regularly contributes to news features on the BBC and Channel 5, discussing topics surrounding women’s safety and sexual harassment. Her most recent broadcasting appearance was on BBC Radio 4 program AntiSocial.
